 This afternoon, I read your article on the tips you have outlined in this period of recession.  It carried all the information and real life tips one should follow at this critical time the following lines are  fully appreciative and reflects the situation aptly and informs what one should do

1. Recession doesn't mean zero demand in the market, it only means demand is down
2. Recession is a temporary phenomenon and one can look at it as period of correction.
3. Its not only a correction for the stock markets or property sector
4. It's more a time to check for loopholes in our work culture and personal life style and value systems.

I asked my daughter to read this urgently too

Dear Sir,

This has reference to the editorial titled "Being with oneself" dated 18.6.08. It is really amazing to see such thought provoking editorial leaving behind all current affairs around us and a thought dedicated for having time to do the introspection about our achievements, success, failures, etc. This editorial is a special of its kind for Deccan Herald after the completion of 60 years has tried to woo us in a different kind of world to crave attention from all the urbanites. Even many a time I used to discuss the things like these with our colleagues like materialistic values will be there up to a certain limit and after that it should be a comfort zone for ourselves to live for others and should not sell off our basic values just for meagre stinking things visible for naked eyes. The editorial of such nature as this, raises one's thinking in making contribution to the society as the society has given to all of us everything we aspired and so many other things which we have not aspired this is in a way we are so lucky to have used a few modern gadgets like computers, mobiles, stereos, videos, cameras, cars, etc which have transpired our lives. But at the same time we have forgotten our fellow beings who have missed so many basic things like water, food, shelter, clothing, education, etc, and not to speak of elite things in life. Interesting editorial !
